Privacy Policy
This page explains, in plain language, the kinds of information Enfenety POS needs to operate the product and how that information supports your workspace.
Table of Contents
Overview#
Enfenety POS is designed to help retail teams manage checkout, inventory, customer balances, and day-to-day store operations in one workspace. To provide those workflows, the service needs certain account, organization, and operational information.
Our Commitment
Account Information#
When someone creates or uses an account, the service may process basic account details such as:
- Name and email address
- Login credentials (securely hashed)
- Email verification status
- Account creation and last active timestamps
This information supports sign-in, account security, invitations, and access control across the platform.
Organization & Workspace Data#
Because Enfenety POS is organized around store workspaces, the service may process organization-level information such as:
- Workspace name and identifier
- Membership and team roles
- Billing state and subscription details
- Operational settings and preferences
Operational Records#
To support product features, the service may process data entered by your team while using the system. This can include:
- Products and inventory details
- Categories and pricing information
- Customer records and contact information
- Orders, order items, and transaction history
- Payment methods and records
- Customer balance activity and credit limits
- Related reporting and analytics records
This data is essential for the core functionality of the POS system and remains under your organization's control.
Service Communications#
The service may send operational emails related to:
- Account verification and security alerts
- Workspace invitations and access changes
- Billing and trial status updates
- Important service announcements
These messages help users activate accounts, regain access, or understand workspace state. You cannot opt out of these essential service communications.
Support Chat#
When live support chat is available inside the dashboard, the service may share limited account and workspace context with a third-party support provider so conversations can be routed and handled more effectively.
This can include:
- Your name and email address
- Workspace identifiers
- Role context tied to the active organization
- Recent activity relevant to your inquiry
How Information Is Used#
Information is used to:
- Provide the product and maintain service functionality
- Maintain account access and security
- Organize data by workspace for proper access control
- Support core retail workflows (sales, inventory, customer management)
- Keep the service functioning as expected
- Communicate important updates and changes
Workspace Access & Roles#
Enfenety POS uses workspace membership and role-based access to help control what users can view or do inside an organization.
Available roles include:
- Owner — Full control over workspace settings, billing, and member management
- Admin — Can manage most workspace settings and members
- Manager — Can manage products, inventory, and view reports
- Cashier — Can process sales and manage customer transactions
This system is meant to keep store data scoped to the active workspace rather than shared across organizations.
Data Retention & Changes#
This page is a general product-facing summary rather than a jurisdiction-specific legal policy.
Subject to Change
We retain operational data for as long as your workspace is active. Upon workspace closure, data is retained for a reasonable period to support account recovery and legal obligations, then securely deleted.
